Admissions & Academic Criteria

 Eligibility

 A student may be eligible to participate in the ASU CAMP Scholars Project if: 
  1. You are a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.  
  2. You are enrolled, admitted for enrollment or planning to enroll as a full-time student at Arizona State University.

ASU CAMP Scholars Project Requirements

  1. Follow the ASU CAMP & ABOR Student Code of Conduct
  2. Enroll in CAMP seminars Fall and Spring
  3. Enroll in at least 12 credit hours per semester
  4. Maintain a 2.5 GPA
  5. Participate in ASU CAMP Scholar activities
  6. Attend weekly study hall hours
  7. Meet regularly with Academic Success Coordinator & Peer Academic Mentors
  8. No off-campus employment during the first year at ASU (exception for work-study)

The ASU CAMP Scholars Project strives to create a comprehensive, responsive, sustainable retention program for migrant students. We ensure the academic success of first-year migrant students through financial, transitional and academic support while enriching the lives of our students and working with families to ensure student success.

A student may be eligible to participate in the ASU CAMP Scholars Project if: 

  1. You are a US Citizen or permanent resident  

  2. You are enrolled, admitted for enrollment, or planning to enroll as a full-time student at Arizona State University  

  3. You have earned less than 24 credits at a university or college
