ASU CAMP Scholars is the only program at Arizona State University focused on serving first-generation farmworker communities of Arizona at the university level. Our team has created a comprehensive program centered on student success by providing a quality program to help students attain a university degree. To help achieve this success, CAMP scholars are required to maintain good academic standing and attend CAMP-sponsored events. Our staff has an open-door policy and our scholars are encouraged to work in the student computer lab made just for them.

We provide the following free services to our CAMP Scholars to assist them every step of the way on their journey:

• Bilingual campus tours and application support: For those interested in the CAMP Scholars program we offer customized college tours, college access and financial information forums and application assistance. Our bilingual campus tours for migrant youth and families focus on the historical Latin@ presence at ASU. The community and school-based informational forums give pre-college migrant youth and their families information on how to prepare for college and pay the costs and how careers connect to college majors. We also help students complete their online FAFSA and ASU admissions applications and apply for fee waivers. 
• First-year student support: Once a migrant student has been accepted to ASU, CAMP helps them to settle into their first year as a Sun Devil, review their financial aid award and plan their first-year classes. In partnership with College Depot, we also assist CAMP Scholars with locating and securing scholarships and internships during their time at ASU.
• Counseling and mentorship: For our current CAMP scholars we provide enrollment assistance with admissions, financial aid and scholarships, academic counseling and degree planning, peer mentoring and tutoring, conferences and internships, academic and leadership skills workshops, social and cultural activities, financial support and counseling and as well as other additional services as needed.
