Eligibility and how to apply

 Eligibility

 A student may be eligible to participate in the ASU CAMP Scholars Project if: 
  1. You are a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.  
  2. You are enrolled, admitted for enrollment or planning to enroll as a full-time student at Arizona State University.  
  3. You have earned less than 24 credits at a university or college.
AND one of the following 
  1. You participated in or were eligible to participate in a Title 1 Migrant Education Program (MEP).
  2. You or your parent/guardian participated in the National Farmworker Jobs Program (WIA 187).
  3. You or your parent/guardian worked at least 75 days in the past 24 months in temporary or seasonal farm work, such as agricultural crops; dairy, poultry or livestock production; the cultivation or harvesting of trees; or on a fish farm.  

How to apply to ASU CAMP Scholars Project

  1. Apply for admission to ASU 
  2. Complete the ASU CAMP application. (Include your ASU ID number as proof of application/admission to ASU.)
  3. Upload copies of the following documents with your CAMP application or email them to asucamp@asu.edu:
    • ​​​​​​​Copy of Birth Certificate / U.S. Passport or your Permanent Resident Card  
    • Copy of Certificate of Eligibility (COE) or Farmwork Employment Verification or National Farmworker Jobs Program Eligibility Verification
    • Copy of Federal Student Aid Report (SAR) or parents/guardians' taxes from the previous year  
    • Copy of your high school transcripts (unofficial)
    • Proof of your MMR immunizations

​​​​If you need a copy of your Certificate of Eligibility (COE), please download a waiver. Please contact us at asucamp@asu.edu with your name and mailing address if you want a hard copy application.

While we have opened up applications for fall 2025, we have a few open spaces for fall 2024, so please apply. We will contact you if we need any additional information.
